HOW TO USE TRIQUILAR TABLET

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Triquilar Kit may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

HOW TRIQUILAR TABLET WORKS

Triquilar Kit is a combined oral contraceptive pill. It works by preventing the release of egg (ovulation) and affecting sperm movement in the womb to prevent its union with the egg. It also changes the lining of the womb and renders it unsuitable for pregnancy.

Alcohol

Taking Ethinyl Estradiol with alcohol can cause minor side effects

Pregnancy

CAUTION

Triquilar Kit is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation

Triquilar Kit is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Nonhormonal contraceptives is preferred in breastfeeding women, especially during the first 4 weeks postpartum

Driving

It is not known whether Triquilar Kit alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney

There is limited information available on the use of Triquilar Kit in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

There is limited information available on the use of Triquilar Kit in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
