HOW TO USE TACROZ OINTMENT

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and gently massage the ointment. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

HOW TACROZ OINTMENT WORKS

Tacroz Forte 0.1% Ointment is an immunosuppressant. It works by suppressing the activity of certain immune cells that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) of the skin. This relieves itching and improves rashes in atopic dermatitis.

Tacroz Forte 0.1% Ointment may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation

Tacroz Forte 0.1% Ointment is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

WHAT IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF TACROZ OINTMENT?

If you miss a dose of Tacroz Forte 0.1% Ointment, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
